How to contribute to our vision For our R&D Drivetrain team in Technology in Denmark or Spain we are looking for dedicated Specialist. As a Specialist, you will be a part of a dynamic and global team, with a strong focus on developing cool turbines for the future. Moreover, you will act as the single point of contact and be responsible for the solution provided by the developing partner. With some of your responsibilities being:
Developing technical and validated gearbox connection solutions to the projects such as elastomeric connection to bedframe or main bearing housing and flexible coupling to generator shaft on medium or high-speed range.
Drive rough analytical calculations on gears, shafts, keys, pins, splines, and fasteners on critical mechanical devices such as high-speed coupling or torque arm suspension system, brake system, high speed lock system or turning system.
Perform rough structural calculations on specific structures using analytical methods for pre-dimension and align with Structural team on detailed calculation.
Explore innovative mechanical concepts and complete complex mechanical designs.
Prepares requirement specifications and interface control document on critical components such us couplings, elastomer, brakes aligned with purchase and test requirements.
Define manufacturing, assembly, installation specification in alignment with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Clarify design and interface requirements with all relevant stakeholders.
Prepare project deliverables such as: DFMEA, DRA (design risk assessment), CRS (component replacement strategy) among others.
Execute Design Reviews with stakeholders and balance important requirements and release of Engineering BoM.
Participate in prototype & pre-series assembly in workshop and implement lessons learned. Support production ramp up of the first units before series with physical attendance at the production plant.
Participate in prototype & pre-series installation at site locations supporting construction ramp up of the first units before series with physical attendance at the site location.
What you need to make a difference Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are looking for you, who wants to make real what matters and who wants to change the world to renewable energy.
The ideal candidate holds an academic degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar along with a minimum experience of 10 years within Product development and Mechanical Design in combination with thorough practical experience and knowledge with:
"IEC 61400-4 Design requirements for wind turbine gearboxes" is a must.
GPS Geometrical Product Specification is a must.
Structural Calculations will be an advantage.
NX Siemens PLM & Teamcenter Siemens PLM
Machinery directive 2006/42/EC will be an advantage.
Having self-initiative and being a pro-active, problem solver that works independently and in teams.
A high Communication skill in English (orally and writing).
