The mission of this roleEnsure the profitable growth of the MakeUp category through the most relevant and added value product offering, and by putting into place the right business development actions to support growth & profit. Key Responsibilities Create a Category development plan, to grow the revenue and gross margin of the MakeUp category. Determine and execute category annual targets and 3-year goals.Continually research the market to understand better the market and product trends by visiting clients, shows and other related industry events and create on trend packaging solutions to meet these needs. Design and develop the Category product offering and sales catalogue (inhouse products but also outsourced and sourced) aligned with market needs and sustainability targets. Help convert sales opportunities into business,finding solutions outside of the catalogue to answer needs when relevant.Make sure global sales teams are fully trained on the product offering. Own the gross margin generated by their category, finding the right balance between sell price and costs to drive the constant increase of gross margin in absolute value. Develop a range of added value packaging solutions and implement go-to-market plan for product launches.Work with R&D; team to direct the design, develop and launch process of new products; and with the Creative hub to bring added value innovation to market. Be a business partner to suppliers, building strong relationships with key partners while working with the Sourcing teams. Requirements10 + years within the Beauty Industry with a high level of market and client knowledge.Management experienceHigh level of commercial understanding and abilities mixed with a good level of packaging and formula knowledge
