We are looking for a talented EHS Senior Specialist to join our team specializing in Industrial HSE for our ACCELERA by Cummins new Site in Spain.
Relocation is not eligible.
English: very high level is a MUST requirement (C1 equivalent).
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Provides administrative technical support for key health and safety initiatives coordinating data collection checking for accuracy, reporting through required HSE systems, maintaining records for occupational health and safety training, and coordinating and assisting in meeting preparations.
Maintains confidentiality and appropriate recordkeeping standards in line with corporate data protection and retention requirements.
Builds an understanding of HSE culture and apply to business processes.
Coordinates and assists in delivery of health and safety training programs.
Participates in health and safety inspection and audit programs.
Assure emergency response programs are in place and in compliance with legislation. Support investigations on critical EHS issues and help drive solutions,
Complete risk assessments and job hazard assessments in support of site activities.
Ensure adequate training/awareness of company personnel for EHS requirements.
Support the review and auditing of contractors' program.
Manage of the documenting and maintaining of EHS processes and ensure all are released through the relevant Document Control System.
Support Lessons Learned initiatives.
Management of the dangerous and non-dangerous waste generated on site.
Implement, and execute EHS annual objectives and improvement plans in conjunction with site operations.
Assists in the obtention and maintenance of the ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Management System Certification.
Assist team members with Safety Improvement Ideas (Suggestion Program).
Assist team members and workplace committees with creative approaches to improving safety.
Assist with Incident Investigations - conduct interview process, take pictures, and obtain any other necessary paperwork 5S Safety Areas (eye wash stations, fire extinguishers, oil drums, absorbent containers etc.), Universal and non-hazardous waste.
Help minimize incidents through effective communication of policies, procedures, and information.
80% or more of EHS Specialist's time will be spent on the plant floor, using Enablon safety software to enter incident, action plans, sustainability metrics, etc.
To be successful in this role you will need the following: A College, University or equivalent degree in Industrial Safety or another related field preferred to perform EH&S position.
Requires work senior experience level at Industrial Plants (5-8 years minimum). Experience in ergonomic and psychosocial assessments.
Proficiency in Microsoft office applications required.
Used to manage ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 integrated management system and certifications.
Have preferably auditor certification according to ISO 45001 standards.
Deep knowledge of EHS legislation.
Strong technical abilities.
