Tecnun, University of Navarra, offers a position in San Sebastián (Spain) for a telecommunication/electrical engineer , preferably with a PhD degree, who has the ability to work on several projects related to antennas, electromagnetics, radar, signal processing, Software Defined Radios (SDR) programming and microprocessors.The candidate will participate in a European project related to wireless implants in relation to communication, antenna design and programming of communication electronics. In addition, work on electromagnetic compatibility projects in the railway sector, which will involve the design of electromagnetic filters with CST tool, their prototyping and evaluation will be developed. It is planned to collaborate in the design of a radar for sensor technology involving signal processing and data analysis. Collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) , with other international (European) agents and with companies in the Basque Country region is foreseen. The estimated duration of the contract is three years , with participation of the candidate in future research proposals aligned with his/her research interests in synergy with the department. Postdoctoral training in an international research reference group will be taken into account.
Offered: • One year contract (extendable for 3 more years)
• Schedule: Winter: 7.75 hours per day. ½ June, July and August: 5,5 hours a day.
Flexible hours: check-in between 8:00 and 9:30, check-out from 4:15 p.m.
