We are currently looking for a Engineering Manager (PV and Wind) for our headquarters in Madrid. Mission Collaborate actively in the development of engineering designs in the different phases: pre-design, basic engineering design and executive project of the Solar PV and Wind Plants among the different geographies in coordination with local and corporate teams assuring the most optimized designs and the inclusion of all technical specifications in their most upgrade version in order to guarantee technical suitability and technical and economic efficiency. Functions •Overall he/she shall be the responsible for coordinate de engineering team in the designing, evaluating and optimizing design/s of the PV plants and MV/HV/Substations under analysis and construction. •In the preparation phase he/she shall be responsible to coordinate with the PV/ Wind Plant design and prepare different optimized scenarios of plant design, generation, evacuation lines and interconnection with the utility that would maximize its value along the complete lifecycle. He/she, in coordination with the Project Manager responsible for the project, shall support the BD team with all technical aspects of the deal which require his/her input. •He/she shall be the responsible to prepare and lead technical conversations in relation of the plant design and interconnection part of the plants with support engineering firms, technical DD advisors, local utilities…etc. •He/she shall be responsible with his/her team to analyse from the technical side all new and current upgraded equipment in the market in order to achieve the best results on the plants acquired and built. Together with the PM in charge and supply change management shall provide the technical inputs needed to prepare tender specifications and evaluations in tendering processes for the procurement of equipment, BOS and EPC services specially focused in the substation and MV/HV lines of the evacuation line from the plan to the point of connection. •During the execution, he/she, shall be responsible to analyse possible deviations from the intended design or technical specifications and to provide feedback and alternative viable solutions. •Support PM in all technical matter when negotiating EPC contracts for subcontracting contracts •Support PM in all technical matters when negotiating engineering contracts. •Actively support PM in all technical deviation analysis during project execution •Support PM in the control to engineering firms and tech advisors in a daily basis to achieve projects completion and commissioning on time and budget within the quality and safety highest standards. •Be the focal point of all technical related matters including long term programs for improvement of the plants. •Provide feedback to all other functions and create when adequate, technical instructional datasheets and brochures in order to have all organization informed of the current and future status of the plants in terms of engineering and design. Minimum requirements •Studies in Industrial Engineering or similar. •At least five years of experience as Engineering Manager. •Demonstrated experience in photovoltaic and wind power plant design. •Fluent level of English to enable negotiation.
