The Head of Airbus Export Control Airbus Commercial is responsible for developing export controls compliance in a pragmatic way.
The Export Control Manager is responsible for helping to this goal in giving support and guidance to each LOEO team members, Airbus Programs and Functions.
Main Responsibilities Work on all export control matters handled by the department, as a support for the more sectorally focused team members, including Spanish, Fr, UK, German, EU and US export regulations.
Apply for export licenses to Spanish military or Dual-use administrations and US as well if needed
Ensure license/agreements management
Participate to business meetings to de-risk export control issues as early as possible, notably through contract or design reviews.
Raise awareness of export control issues, help identify who needs required training and lead training sessions.
Help the definition and implementation of the internal compliance program and Technology Control Plans
Travel as required to support local EC teams (team meetings, business support, etc.)
Required Educational Background and Experience 3-5 years of experience working in a multinational environment advising on international trade and export control matters;
Business acumen and ethical behavior in a heavily regulated business environment
Knowledge of Spanish, Fr, EU, German, UK and US military and dual-use export controls;
University educated;
Strong leadership and communication skills; sound business judgment; ability to appropriately involve others in consultations and decisions;
Excellent writing skills required to write and edit policies and procedures, reports and memorandums;
Strong relationship building, networking, interpersonal and communication skills;
High degree of initiative, credibility, independence, integrity, confidentiality and trust;
Ability to quickly earn the respect of senior management in order to be credible and effective in this complex and constantly-developing environment,
Languages: Commercially fluent in English and Spanish;
