.As the Facility Manager of our biopharmaceutical CDMO company, you will oversee the maintenance and operation of our facilities, utilities, and equipment to ensure optimal performance, safety, and sustainability. Your leadership will be crucial in driving efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement in our facility management practices.Key Functions:Strategic Facility Management:Develop and implement a comprehensive facility management strategy aligned with the company's objectives and valuesLead and execute strategies supporting facility maintenance, utilities management and equipment upkeep, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.Maintenance and Operations:Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and operation of company facilities, utilities, and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in environmental management.Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime, reduce operational costs, and maximize the lifespan of critical assets.Budgeting and Resource Management:Define and manage facility maintenance budgets, capital expenditures, and resource allocation to optimize cost-effectiveness, operational efficiency, and environmental performance.Evaluate and procure sustainable supplies, equipment, and services to support facility maintenance activities and minimize environmental impact.Safety and Compliance:Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, building codes, environmental laws, and industry standards, fostering a culture of safety, sustainability, and corporate responsibility among facility staff.Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, root cause analysis and audits to identify potential hazards, environmental risks, and compliance gaps, and implement corrective actions as needed.Vendor and Contractor Management:Select, contract, and oversee external vendors and contractors for specialized facility maintenance services, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.Establish and maintain effective relationships with service providers, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders to ensure alignment with company goals and values.Team Leadership and Development:Lead and mentor a team of facility maintenance personnel, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills, capabilities, and environmental awareness.Promote a culture of teamwork, professionalism, innovation, and continuous improvement within the facility management team, emphasizing collaborationExperience Requirements:5+ years of experience in facility management roles, preferably in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, with demonstrated expertise in maintenance, operations, sustainability, and compliance.Experience in pharmaceutical production plant environments, particularly in biopharmaceutical production plants with multiple production lines, including microbial, cell culture, and mRNA
