Field Application Engineer

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Field Application Engineer for Industrial Automation products to support Iberia partners and customers, specifically for the North area. Position is based in Vitoria office but requires frequent business trips to visit customers and support them with IABG products commissioning. The area to cover will be mainly Basque region. For this position, you will work together with Sales Manager in region and connected with FAE Iberia team to answer customers' requests.Main Responsibilities:To support our Sales team, Key account customers and channels partnersProviding introduction and training to channel partners for IA products/solutionsSupporting channel partners with application of all IA products/solutionsReporting periodically to SM and Field Application Team on the status of the assigned activities and potential issuesConducting benchmarking analysis for IA products/solutions whenever requiredReporting technology and feature trends related to IA products/solutionsQualifications:Native Spanish language or very fluentTechnical high school diploma or Engineering University degree (preferably in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering)Solving and tracking customer product application and technical issuesAssisting in writing product proposalsGathering information about industry trends/market products and giving feedback on product developmentHands-on, technical experience with the products of industrial automation such as PLC, HMI, motion controller, inverter, servoHands-on, technical experience in the fields of industrial automation such as packaging machine, and other OEM's in different vertical marketsCODESYS use and experienceExperience with Robot SCARA and Vision System is a plusProviding product training for dealers and customersDesigning and executing the showroomServing as a training instructor and conducting product trainingConducting site surveys for quality problems and assisting R&D in conducting quality diagnosesIndustry testing before exiting factories and giving feedbackSorting and organizing technical documentation#J-18808-Ljbffr
