Your Job As a member of our Investment Team, your tasks will include the following: Building sophisticated financial models for a variety of renewable energy projects, including photovoltaic, wind, BESS, and hybrid projects across various geographies. Supporting the Investment Team in the negotiation and execution of M&A, funds raising, project finance, and sale processes. Evaluating potential investment opportunities against predefined company criteria, providing valuable insights to inform strategic decision-making. Supporting the preparation of offer/bids and term sheets (project financing, SPA). Assessing electricity market trends and their impact on expected profitability at project/portfolio level. Analysing various energy offtake structures and recommend the most suitable options for specific projects, contributing to optimal project performance and profitability. Your profile Degree in economics, finance, mathematics, industrial engineering, or a related field. An MBA or Master's degree is advantageous. 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, with exposure to financial modelling and analysis. Prior experience in the renewables sector and experience with financial statement analysis are a plus. Demonstrated expertise in cash flow modelling is essential. Proficiency in MS Office Excel is required, with additional skills in macro-programming (Visual Basic programming) considered a strong asset. Excellent presentation and communication skills are essential for effectively conveying complex financial concepts and analyses. Financial statement analysis experience is a Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving, alongside a keen willingness to learn. Excellent command of English is required, both written and spoken. Fluency in other languages, such as German or Spanish, would be beneficial but not mandatory.
