This position is responsible to grow the business and drive results by acting on opportunities and deficiencies immediately, lead, mentor and coach team members and build customer satisfaction. This position is based at the corporate office which is located at Stoney Plain, Alberta. Job Description:Major Job Functions:Develop and monitor the annual budgets for the region Communicate with staff and department managers to ensure that the goals and budget are achievedManage and approve discretionary expenses and take corrective action as requiredConduct monthly reviews of financial results and exception reports in each branch and lead prompt action to correct deficiencies ensuring all departments are meeting targets Monitor and control the overall performance of the sales, service and parts departments In collaboration with the Branch Managers, ensure the employees have the skills and training necessary to effectively perform their assigned tasks and meet customer expectationsEnsure that all corporate Health and Safety standards are strictly adhered toEnsure that housekeeping in each store and the personal appearance of store employees meets the expectations of customers and owners Manage Customer and Manufacturer Relationships Promptly and effectively manage customer complaints and concerns that cannot be dealt with by other management levelsBuild relationships with customers by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunitiesMaintain a positive rapport with manufacturers' representatives Sales Growth Work with branch personnel to grow market share by targeting key customers in each region to grow our business both inside with our current key accounts and outside our customer base with new customersDirect marketing personnel and branch administration with advertising and promotional activities that are an effective and efficient way to grow our businessIn collaboration with the branches oversee high value sales opportunities reviewing pricing, packaging and promotion of our products to those high value customers Other duties The duties listed above are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that be performed.
