MR MARVIS is looking for a full-time Financial Planning & Analysis Manager (FP&A) to jointhe finance team at our Amsterdam HQ.
The team consists of the Head of Finance, the Financial Controller, theAssistant Financial Controller and an Accounting Associate.
Your main responsibility will be setting up and implementing the financial planningcycle process at MR MARVIS and guiding the rest of the company through thischange.
At MR MARVIS, there is currently a top down budget process in place.However due to the expansion to new markets, the growth we have experienced inexisting markets, a shift towards more focus on retail and a shift in budget ownershipto departmental heads, we require the budgeting process to be a more bottom-upapproach driven by different budget owners.
We believe this will help us get the buy-in we need from the different stakeholders and prepare us for the next step in ourjourney where the planning process becomes a companywide process. Therefore,the FP&A Manager will have stakeholders in all departments of MR MARVIS.
Besides the planning cycle the FP&A Manager is also responsible for analysis of theresults in comparison to the plan, flag opportunities and risks, quantify these, andadjust the plan if required. The role also requires you to think ahead and collaborateon long-term forecasting and helping stakeholders prepare business cases tosupport investments.
As MR MARVIS is a scale-up and is still growing strongly, there will be manyopportunities to develop yourself in the field of FP&A, but also familiarise yourselfwith the workings of the company and its processes. What you'll bring
A minimum of 5 years working experience in FP&A (or comparable roles);
A Bachelor or Master's degree in the direction of Finance or Business;A track record in financial modelling;Affinity with financial data analysis;Experience with the financial forecasting tool Anaplan (or a comparable tool)
Fluency in English (written and verbal);
A positive attitude and quick understanding of processes.
