G-662 Adv Practice Registered Nurse - Child Protection Team- Tallahassee

Job Description :Reviews daily abuse reports to the Florida Hotline to determine the mandatory referrals forthe Department of Children and Families to consult with CPT, per state statute.Determinessituations requiring a medical examination or further testing / hospital services / record reviews and inconjunction with supervisors and medical director.- Provides diagnostic evaluations and medical consultations regarding abused and neglectedchildren under the direction of the Medical Director.- Takes patient histories, conducts physicalexaminations, and records the data in the patient's record; writes progress notes and narrativedischarge summaries; Prepares patient workupsand summaries noting pertinent positive andnegative findings.Prepares medical reports.Consults with Case Coordinators, Program Coordinators and participates in Case Reviewsand Team Staffing's.
