FHG is looking for a Business Development Manager to join its Generic API business unit to maintain and grow business in the international market for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) with the following main responsibilities:
Lead business activities in India and South & Central America (Territory)Support development of market and product strategiesManage and expand existing customers in the Territory for APIsMaintain and generate new business in the Territory for APIsPromotion of R&D Products in the assigned TerritoryBuild healthy business and prioritize for highest value opportunitiesBecome a trusted contact and develop strong, mutually beneficial relationships that earn the loyalty of prospects and current clients (short and long term)Preparation and monitoring of sales budget in the TerritorySupport to Commercial Dept on Technical topics (IP, Regulatory, Chemical)From a commercial perspective, support FHG with the coordination of APIs under developmentParticipate in industry trade showsRequired Education & Experience:Life Science Degree / Background related to the pharmaceutical industry3+ years of Business Development experience in the generic API sectorProven track record of selling API into the international pharmaceutical market, ideally Asia and Central & South AmericaDesirable Knowledge, capabilities, and skills:Business EducationExperience working in a Technical / Life Science environment, with technical backgroundExperience working in a GMP environment, with some knowledge of regulatory standardsExperience working in IP, understanding / education in IPProblem solvingWhat we offer:Be part of a young, committed, and excellent relationship Commercial TeamMedical InsuranceSalary + Bonus depending on final candidate experience.e-mail*
