Group Finance DirectorA CoruñaA Coruña, Galicia, ESAt Uniter, we are seeking a Global Finance Director to effectively lead our finance operations across all of our global sites.Based in our Head Office, the Director of Finance is accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company, to monitor and control a financial and operational strategy metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results and ensure that reported financial results are complying.The Director of Finance is responsible for undertaking data validation along with finance reporting and analysis in order to support Management in analyzing the business. The position is also expected to be able to assist managers in the process of recommending change that adds value to the organization.Job Duties- Reporting the financial results of our ALS Uniter Group operations in an accurate and timely manner (Actuals, Forecast, Budget).- Full ownership of P&L;, Balance Sheet and Working Capital.- Ensure all regional results match with our global reporting results.- Overall control of all financial transactions and accountancy matters.- Maintenance of internal controls to safeguard the company's assets.- Perform Balance Sheet reviews.- Internal Controls / Audits including financial analyses.- Tax management and control for the region.- Responsible for Credit Management & Billing.- CAPEX & Contracts approval.- Cost & Expense control.- Ensure that financial practices are in line with all statutory legislation and regulations.- Maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure,particular checks to ensure correct compliance with: Restructuring accruals and expenses,Warranty, Inventory and Receivables Reserves and Intercompany Reconciliations.- Actively member of the Management Team at all decisions following the ethics policy and are the most cost effective.- Provide guidance and support on financial matters to the Management Team and ensure that input of regional and corporate resources on tax, treasury, risk management, accounting and internal control is obtained when needed.- Responsible for all financial analysis and scenario modeling of new business proposals and for managing the approval process of any new business proposal prior to sales force communication with customers.- Responsible for the development of all local finance and accounting departments.Experience and education- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance,Accounting, Economics, or Mathematics is preferred.- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial accounting (Experience in Cost/ Manufacturing Analysis is necessary)- Strong knowledge of SAP, and experience in at least two ERP implementations- Strong accounting expertise coupled with advanced analytical skill. (Excel, Power Bi, SAP, Smartsheet)- Local accounting certification/post-graduate education is a mustTechnical competences and skills- Proficiency in English (Written and Oral) and the applicable local language(s).- Experience reorganizing team task and automations.- Proficient in preparing accurate and timely financial reports, covering Actuals, Forecast, and Budget.- Expert in P&L;, Balance Sheet, and Working Capital, adhering to local, and tax GAAP standards.- Ability to ensure local financial results align with global reporting standards.- Strong understanding of financial transactions and accountancy matters.- Establishment of internal controls to safeguard company assets.- Skill in conducting thorough Balance Sheet reviews.- Knowledge of statutory legislation and regulations.- Experience in overseeing Internal Controls/Audits, including financial analyses.- Expertise in managing tax-related activities and control functions for the region.- Responsibility for Credit Management & Billing processes.- Skill in approving CAPEX and Contracts.- Experience in implementing cost and expense control measures.- Thorough understanding of financial reporting and general ledger structure, ensuring compliance with restructuring accruals, expenses, warranty, inventory, receivables reserves,and intercompany reconciliations.- Ability to actively contribute to Management Team decisions, ensuring ethical practices and cost-effectiveness.- MS Office Products / CKPVision / QlikViewPersonal and General Characteristics- Cultural Fit: Embodies Uniter's values of collaboration, innovation, and results-driven approach.
