Work and responsibilitiesWorking within the Group Fitness & Aerobics team at Club La Santa you will be responsible for teaching a wide range of classes daily. Plan and deliver dynamic and high-energy aerobic classes to guests of all fitness levels.Develop and execute well-structured aerobic routines, incorporating a variety of aerobic exercises, dance moves, and cardio techniques.Provide clear instructions and demonstrations of exercises, ensuring proper form and technique to prevent injuries.Motivate and inspire participants to achieve their fitness goals by creating a positive and supportive class atmosphere.Modify exercises and routines to accommodate participants with varying fitness levels, injuries, or special needs.Continuously educate yourself on new fitness techniques, certifications, and trends to enhance your skills and knowledge.Working within the Green Team you might be required to work in other areas, like Sports Booking, morning runs, events, evening entertainment, etc. You will refer directly to the In-Charge of Group Fitness & Aerobics (in Lanzarote). Furthermore, you will be a part of the Green Team consisting of around 60 sports instructors and with more than 450 colleagues across 3 countries, you will be part of a big hotel operation. QualificationsProven experience as an Aerobics Instructor or a similar fitness role.Certification in group fitness instruction (e.g., IFAA, Les Mills, Zumba, Club La Santa Academy, etc.).Excellent knowledge of aerobic exercises, dance routines, and cardio techniques.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to motivate and engage participants.Ability to adapt exercises and routines to accommodate participants' needs and fitness levels.Passion for fitness and a genuine desire to help others achieve their wellness goals.Ability to work flexible hours with a very flexible schedule.Fluency in English (additional language skills are a plus).Knowledge of other fitness disciplines such as Pilates, yoga, or strength training is desirable. As well as being good at teamwork withing the group fitness & aerobics team you will mainly be teaching on your own. Responsible. You are good at finding solutions while working in a high speed evnvironment as well as showing an interest in keeping our areas organized and tidy. What do we offerPermanent full time contract with 40 hrs. working week and 2 days off.The salary is 1,392.79 € bruto per month, 12 times a year. You will also receive three extra payments during the year: December, June and Holiday pay. These amounts will be calculated proportionally to the number of months the employee has been employed. The max you can receive is 1,336.42 € bruto (up to three times per year). One free lunch will be provided on all working days.Holiday: 30 days a year + 18 extra days of holiday as compensation for work on public holidays including holiday pay.Subsidised shared accommodation at 191.76 € per month (the apartment is shared with another employee and consists of a living room with a small kitchen, bathroom and one bedroom).
