.Prima is an Italian tech company that has been disrupting the insurance industry since its launch in 2015, achieving € 170 million investment since 2018. Prima now boasts over two and a half million active clients and has started its international expansion, opening new offices in the UK and in Spain.Over the next months, Prima Spain will start the gradual internalization of the claims handling process, aiming for the implementation of a fully in-sourced model in the longer term.In this context, Prima is looking for a Head of Claims, that can define the claims internalisation strategy and implement it end-to-end, creating and leading the team, whilst establishing a complete oversight and an efficient relationship with the claims TPA during the transition phase.Specifically, your responsibilities will be:Define and implement the strategy for the claims internalisation. In particular:Grow the department (team and expertise)Design the roadmap of insourcing of activitiesDefine the handling processesCreate a network of suppliers to integrate the handling activities: negotiate agreements and build strong relationships with external providers such as shop and expert networks with the end goal of optimising claims handling and its impact on the P/LEnsure the timely and proper handling of claims in accordance with the amounts of coverage, ensuring customer satisfaction but also strong control of costsDefine and monitor closely KPIs, SLAs and claims evolution and patterns to Guarantee strong control of the quality of the handling performed by the internal teams and external providers, and to define corrective actions when necessaryDefine, implement and continuously improve processes that guarantee quality, efficiency and strong cost controlsDuring the transition period (working also with the TPA), providing oversight and control of the TPA is requited, ensuring it meets Prima's standards and also improves based on our needsActively participate in the definition of the requirements and functionalities of our internal claims platform, to be developed by our Product & Tech teamsCollaborate closely with the Heads of other departments - in particular Customer Service and Underwriting - to guarantee customer satisfaction and control over loss ratioRequirements :What we are looking for:6+ years of strategic experience (consulting, strategy departments etc)capability to design strategic plans, but also to implement and operate them successfully, with proven resultsstrong analytical skills and ability to organize your own and team's work independently, making decisions and assuming risks responsiblyexcellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team, flexibility and readiness to changestrong leadership skills to create and manage the claims team
