We value employee experience, well-being and mental health and we acknowledge that a healthy work life balance is a critical factor for employee satisfaction and in turn nurtures an environment from which a high-quality client service can be achieved.Come and join us in this exciting journey to make a positive impact in patient's lives.The Head of inside sales, leads a global team of Sales Development Representatives, playing a critical role in the successful onboarding, training and development of new staff, and providing ongoing focused coaching, mentoring and training while helping the organization achieve our new customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.Provide line management support to Sales Development team members including focused coaching, development training, providing real-time consistent feedback to improve productivity and skills and leverage toolsInterview and hire strong talent for the Sales Development teamSupport onboarding and training for all new Sales Development team membersPartner with Commercial Leadership to execute strategic initiatives and lead generation tactics to drive pipeline.Partner with Sales Team Leaders to maintain effective partnerships between Sales Development and Sales TeamsManage team performance to ensure individual and team goals are achieved and provide feedback on action plans and development opportunitiesDrive sales enablement improvements to ensure the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of Sales Development practices and processes leading to optimum organizational performanceAssist with the writing/creating and reviewing of team training and reference guides including playbooks and ensure relevance to individual regions & territoriesLead team meetings and trainingWork with Commercial Teams & Leadership to identify and recommend process improvements and roll out new initiativesProvide analytics and forecasting reports to Commercial Leadership PartnersSupport and train Sales Development Account Managers with conference lead responsibilitiesPartner with Marketing on campaigns and eventsEnsure SalesForce compliance within the teamAttend trades shows and other events as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences or related disciplinePrior inside sales/business development experience, preferably at a CRO or other vendor within the clinical trials industryStrong experience in developing new business, lead nurturing and qualification, prospecting and appointment settingDemeonstrated management or leadership experience, preferably managing sales development/Inside Sales TeamUnderstand policies and procedures, leadership principles, possesses excellent time management and project management skills and communicate effectivelyCRO/pharmaceutical industry experience preferred including knowledge of Phase I-IV clinical developmentExperience with Salesforce or other CRM and sales automation toolsAdditional InformationWe prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion by creating an equal opportunities workplace and a human-centric environment where people of all cultural backgrounds, genders and ages can contribute and grow.To succeed we must work together with a human first approach.
