Melt Group is looking for an International Company leader in his sector an Head of Talent, the candidate will bea key player to establish talent mapping according to needs, promote best-in-class talent acquisition and bring in best in class talent management practices.
What you will do: Talent Acquisition Strategy Elevate talent acquisition practiceDevelop differentiated attraction techniques – how to reach and engage candidates in various markets and countries with various profilesMonitor progress of key performance indicators and propose plans for improvementLead the coordination with line managers to identify potential key roles/jobs, determine need of successors, and identify current incumbents in key positionsMonitor current staffing needs and produce hiring plans together with the business stakeholdersIdentify and deploy robust assessment tools for talent identification and ensure consistent application across the businessBe part of the Spanish HR teams to understand and help drive employer branding initiativesPerformance Management Research best practices in performance management and align the performance management tool with Company business strategy. Continuously improve to develop and establish a performance appraisal system that resonates with the business modelBe a business partner to develop a deep understanding of department objectives and how we accomplish them through Company peopleProvide strategic advice and guidance on the performance management frameworkand talent management practicesDesign and develop standards for competency assessment for recruitment, development, and promotion of employeesSuccession Planning Collaborate with line managers and other departments in Human Resources to create succession strategies and plans that align to business objectivesPartners with the Human Resources team to ensure alignment and linking of succession plans with other HR initiatives (e.g., retention strategies, sourcing strategies, rewards, etc.)Evaluate succession planning program metrics, document results and report to leadership team.Build knowledge in career and succession planning to provide the organization with specialist advice and support regarding the talent assessments and succession planningDrive the process which will advance the overall talent development objectives of the organizationImplement the competency framework system and train department heads to carry out competency assessment, determine employee development needs and provide supportWhat you've done: In-depth knowledge of acquisition, performance management and succession planning concepts, metrics, and related practices with substantial experience of incorporating these into business-focused solutions, including workable implementation plans e.g., design of departmental structures with a cohesive framework of competency models, setting performance standards and measuring results6 – 8 years' experience successfully leading the talent acquisition and development process across a variety of functionsAt least 2 years managing peopleExperience with global recruiting efforts – maneuvering time zones and cultural differencesA strong background and knowledge of all full lifecycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing talent, legal, job analysis, wage and salary trends, relationship management and negotiationFluent in spanish and englshAvailability to travelabroad (Europe) upto 25percent of his time (one week month)Personal attributes: Ownership and accountability on meeting expectationsAnalytical mindsetAdaptable, resourceful, able to work within ambiguityCreative and curious – find the better wayHigh interpersonal skills – tactful, collaborativeExcellent communicator across levels and leadership teams
