Responsibilities
• Identify top accounts, determine account deployment structure, and coordinate efforts to drive demand• Manage funnel management and daily status change reports• Work with local and U.S. account sales teams to drive production from targeted high priority accounts• Solicit new business from non-deployed small business accounts• Utilize business intelligence and internal lead referral tools to generate leads• Maintain and update lead information on each account• Qualify and maintain customer's long-term business potential• Present hotel benefits and features based on customer needs• Utilize negotiation skills and creative selling abilities to uncover new business• Communicate trends, opportunities, and market changes• Leverage all available sales channels to optimize sales revenues• Track weekly activities and relationship to revenue and room night production• Participate in sales strategy meetings and adjust priorities as needed• Build successful relationships with deployed accounts and local small business accounts• Support the company's service and relationship strategy• Attend property related events to develop new accounts• Handle customer care issues and support customer service standards
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED with 2 years sales and marketing experience• OR 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major• Preferred: 4-year college degree and previous experience in proactive lead generation in hospitality and sales discipline• Knowledge of property-specific business segments and the hospitality industry
