Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment) The HR Officer/Manager will assume responsibility for overseeing and directing the comprehensive provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs within LABRADOR Philippines. The primary areas of focus encompass talent acquisition and management, performance management, organizational development and design, regulatory compliance, employee development and training, policy formulation, employee relations and engagement, compensation and benefits design and administration, employee safety and wellness, CSR, and HRIS.The ideal candidate for this role will ensure and lead the Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the acquisition and ongoing development of a superior workforce aligned with the Labrador Corporate Values, Mission and Vision.RESPONSIBILITIES:Talent Acquisition and OnboardingFormulate and execute robust recruitment strategies aimed at attracting top-tier talents.Oversee seamless onboarding processes for new hires to ensure swift integration into the company.Devise recruitment strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives and aspirations, in close consultation with leadership.Assess workforce requirements and evaluate staff utilization to identify recruitment or realignment necessities.Strengthen recruitment endeavors by crafting compelling advertisements and fostering partnerships with relevant organizations and media outlets.Draft contracts and engage in negotiations pertaining to employment offers.Strategize and execute comprehensive orientations for new employees.Facilitate the offboarding procedures for departing staff in accordance with company protocols and legal guidelines.Workplace Relations ManagementAct as a reliable resource for both employees and management, offering strategic HR guidance.Manage and resolve employee concerns and inquiries, including conducting thorough investigations when needed.Cultivate a harmonious work atmosphere by facilitating open communication and resolving conflicts proactively.Offer managerial support in addressing and mitigating employee issues effectively.Nurture collaborative relationships with management and peers to promote a cohesive work environment.Uphold favorable labor relations by enforcing policies and overseeing disciplinary actions when necessary.Enhance team effectiveness through structured performance evaluations and ongoing feedback mechanisms to drive continual growth.Engagement and RetentionEngage in internal communication efforts including satisfaction surveys and newsletters.Lead staff wellness programs and contribute to performance assessments.Facilitate initiatives fostering employee engagement to bolster teamwork and morale.Formulate strategies to boost employee engagement and retention.Coordinate employee events, recognition schemes, and initiatives to foster a vibrant workplace culture.Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to pinpoint improvement opportunities.Training and DevelopmentSpearhead the identification, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of training needs and initiatives.Benefits ManagementDevelop and implement competitive employee benefits and salary structures aligned with market standards.Oversee the administration of employee benefit programs.Ensure accuracy and efficiency in managing employee compensation claims.Performance ManagementLead the annual performance review cycle, ensuring seamless communication between managers and staff ahead of appraisal sessions.Develop and deploy performance management frameworks to assess and enhance employee effectiveness.Offer support in defining performance objectives and executing performance assessments.Ensure adherence to legal mandates and governmental reporting standards.Conduct sessions for leaders to instill understanding and compliance with company policies and address labor relations concerns.Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with legal mandates and industry benchmarks.Remain current on labor laws and regulations to guarantee compliance of the company.HR AdministrationOversee HR administration tasks, including but not limited to payroll processing in collaboration with the Finance Team, and maintaining accurate employee records.Cultivate partnerships with external vendors such as benefits brokers to optimize service delivery.Craft and disseminate HR policies, programs, and objectives to foster organizational structure.Regularly update and uphold the employee handbook to reflect current standards and regulations.Revise and refine employment contracts, agreements, and documentation to align with evolving legal and organizational requirements.Organizational DevelopmentCollaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals and objectives. Develop and implement HR initiatives that support the organization's long-term growth and development.Lead efforts to manage organizational change effectively. Develop change management strategies and communication plans to minimize resistance and facilitate smooth transitions.Additional Duties:Undertake additional duties or assignments as directed by immediate supervisor.COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:1. Excellent organizational skills – ability to manage multiple projects; able to determine project urgency; uses goals to guide actions; creates detailed action plan; organizes and schedules people & tasks effectively 2. Strong customer service and time management skills required.3. Must possess the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems and issues by using the company's standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations or government regulations and law.4. Demonstrates flexibility, open mindedness, and versatility in adjusting to changing environments and requirements as necessary.5. Commits to continually improving his/her skills through participation in education opportunities whether offered on the job, within, or outside of the facility, to increase knowledge of work-related issues.6. Leadership and Team Management: Ability to lead and motivate HR teams, delegate tasks, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.7. Problem-Solving Skills: Aptitude for identifying HR-related issues, evaluating alternative solutions, and implementing effective resolutions to address challenges and enhance organizational effectiveness.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:1. Bachelors Degree in Psychology/ Human Resources Management/Development Communication or equivalent. MA in Labor and Industrial Relations is a plus.2. At least 5 years concrete experience on the position or equivalent.3. Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), or SHRM certification preferred but not required4.
