Job Purpose We are seeking an experienced IAM Operations Lead (Senior IAM Engineer) to join our team. You will be leading the IAM service operations and supporting continuous improvement and process automation of our Workforce IAM solutions. You will collaborate with regional teams, ensuring that our services meet the needs of our internal customers. As the IAM Operations Lead, you will be leading and driving the IAM operations globally at both a strategic and tactical level. You will increase the maturity level of the IAM Service Operations. This position requires a strong understanding of Workforce IAM concepts & technologies as well as strong practices in IAM Service Delivery.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities IAM Service Operations Lead: Oversee the daily operations of IAM services, ensuring they are running efficiently and securely. This includes monitoring system performance, managing access controls, and resolving any IAM-related issues. Focus on enhancing the maturity level of the IAM service operations. This involves assessing current capabilities, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing best practices and standards.Collaborations with Regional Teams: Work closely with regional teams to ensure the IAM services are aligned with the needs of different areas of the business. This involves regular communication and coordination with various stakeholders.External Resource Management: Collaborate with external partners, consultants, and contractors to operate the IAM service. Manage relationships, monitor deliverables, and ensure timely and quality execution of tasks.IT Service Management: Utilize a strong understanding of modern IT service management principles to ensure that IAM services are integrated effectively within the broader IT landscape. This includes adherence to ITIL processes and other industry standards.Product Documentation: Create comprehensive product documentation including user guides and training materials, to facilitate the adoption and understanding of IAM products by end-users and support teams.Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans for IAM services, ensuring that the organization can quickly recover in the event of a disruption.Requirements needed Education Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related fieldAt least 5 years of experience in IT service management; at least 2 years of experience running IAM operationsWhile not mandatory, certifications can enhance your credentials and demonstrate your expertise in IAM and related technologies. Some certifications that are valuable for an IAM Product Owner include:IdentityIQ AssociateCyberArk Sentry Experience Proven experience as a Senior IAM Engineer with a clear focus on IT Service Management & Project Management in an enterprise organizationTo be effective in IT Service Management, the candidate should possess experience in managing and delivering IT services, with a strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and a proven track record in improving service delivery and operational efficiencyUnderstanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Prince2) and experience leading external teamsIn-depth knowledge of IAM technologies and solutions, particularly SailPoint, CyberArk, and optionally Microsoft Entra IDStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersAbility to manage external resources, vendors, and contractors effectivelyExperience in process improvement, establishing self-service capabilities, and driving operational efficiencyExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detailPersonal Attributes You have a positive mindset and a curious natureBeing open-minded and receptive to new ideas, feedback, and perspectives is essentialEffective communication skills.
