Team Overview and Job Responsibilities / Visión General y Responsabilidades Buyer who is responsible of some categories at country level with a spend of 40 M€ Manage the day-to-day activities necessary to purchase non raw material (services, materials..) that meet the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply. Enter orders into the SAP system for managerial approval and release Set up the analysis of supplier bids, tenders, proposals or quotations with terms that are in the organization's best interest Communicate with vendors to solve problems with the timeliness or quality of supplies Identify, research, and evaluate new possible suppliers that meet the organization's standards of price, quality, timing and reliability of supply Set up the Assessment of supplier's products / services to ensure that they comply with specifications and meet the organization's quality standards and drive the supplier performance Collect purchasing related data and provide management with operational reporting Who are we looking for? / Qué estamos buscando? Formación : Economics or Engineering Degree Idiomas : English Experiencia : At least 3-5 years of previous experience in similar roles Other preferred knowledge : Working knowledge of databases; SAP knowledge will be considered as a plus Microsoft Office knowledge is needed , specially excel (advanced) Competences : Proactivity Proactivity Teamwork attitude Ability to work in a matrix organization Willingness to work in a highly structured context.
