TasksThis is a full-time, on-site role for an R&D Engineer in Structural and Product Design located in Madrid. As an R&D Structural & Product Engineer, your role is to design structures and innovate products in the field of wind energy. You should possess strong knowledge in structural mechanics and design optimization. You will be responsible for evaluating, designing, developing, and conducting optimization and validation of different models, interacting with the supply chain. You will be provided with the freedom to create together with an international team. Reporting to the technical director and the general manager, you will be assigned various R&D development projects in which you will make a great impact in the renewable energy industry.
RequirementsBachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Industrial/Civil/Construction/Mechanical Engineering or related fieldExperience in civil structural engineeringExperience with CAD software and structural calculation software (type Cype, Rfem,...)Experience with programming languages (e.g. Python, Matlab, C++, etc.)Background in design optimization and structural mechanicsKnowledge of geotechnics, foundations and building codes.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Work experience in industrial constructions is a plus.Fluency in Spanish and English is requiredBenefitsAbove-average compensationFlexible working hoursPaid co-working optionRemote workJoin W'wave, a clean technology company revolutionizing the renewable energy industry.
