MissionAs a Flight Instrumentation Engineer of the AvionicsTeam, you will be responsible for all aspects of flight sensors, actuators, controlsystems and its development and production life cycle, while maintaining theirinterfaces across the different flight subsystems and providing also support onthe manufacturing, assembly, integration and its operation in launch vehicles.ResponsibilitiesAnalyse high-level requirements and capture needsfrom other subsystems to trace and define technical specifications offlight sensors and actuators.Elaborate internal design and operative criteriastandards and general specifications.Conduct technical trade-off analyses for theselection of flight instrumentation components such as sensors, detectors,valves, thrust vector control actuators, etc.Lead technical interactions with suppliers to select,design, build, test and deliver flight instrumentation components.Act as technical point of contact for all theactivities related to the design, development, testing and operation of thesensors and actuators systems of the launch vehicle.Conduct modelling, performance simulations andanalyses of electrical and electro-mechanical systems via classical andcomputer methods.Support the production and V&V teams in theassembly, characterization, calibration, data evaluation and testcampaigns of each instrumentation component.Generate, maintain and release on schedule engineeringdocumentation such as ICDs, trade-offs, Design Justification Files, usermanuals and technical reports.Own and maintain updated the flight sensors and actuatorslist and its interfaces across the vehicle while ensuring thecompatibility with all the flight subsystems.Mechatronics Degree or similar.Proficiency with electromechanical systems.Strong hands-on experience with assembly andcalibration of sensor systemsProgramming proficiency in Python, C++, MATLAB.Requires excellent documentation skills andattention to detailAbility to creatively propose various possiblesolutions to problemsClear communication with team members to aid in workplanning and raise any blockers or needsTeam player who can work ina flexible way to support changing requirements and prioritiesDesired CompetenciesProgramming proficiency in LabVIEW.Electrical circuit and PCB designCommunicatein a clear and concise manner effectively across multiple levels.Beteam-minded and ready to work in a multi-functional and multi-cultural,fast-moving and complex/technical environment.Flexibleattitude and strong initiative.Demonstratedability to deliver results.OthersLocation:ElcheFull timepositionFlexibilityand willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
