Provide oversight for both client engagements and internal strategic projects to ensure on-time delivery of in-scope items.Collaborate as needed between internal DTS groups and external department teams (such as Technical Support Engineering and Solution Consulting).Manage the transition of a given project to production, internal support, while providing updates on project acceptance and closure.Project Documentation:Maintain a central document repository for all projects, ensuring that the documents and file systems are consistent across projects. Provides training and resources to new staff members in the creation and submission of documentation.Reviews all documentation submitted to ensure that they clearly and comprehensively describe business processes and information.Analyzes source material and works with subject matter experts to determine how information should be written and structured for effective use.Ensures editorial standards and timeliness of documentation by regularly reviewing and updating existing documents.Works with support teams and clients to identify issues in documentation and to provide updates with the goals of providing support staff and clients with resources needed and to reduce resolution time and overall support call volume. Develop and maintain the master Style Guides and supporting document templates to ensure documentation consistency.Uses the appropriate computer applications to produce results and ensures effective use of these applications by utilizing advanced features of the software (heading styles, style sheets, etc.)Works with partner departments to keep documents up to date and properly centralized. Maintains awareness of active projects in terms of project stages to ensure that documentation keeps pace with project evolution. Ensures effective implementation of identified project documentation to improve department performance or to meet changing business needs.Investigates root causes of problems that arise from submitted documentation and recommends appropriate course of action to resolve the issues.Communicates regularly with appropriate department contacts to understand their needs as related to the documentation process
