It Transport Solutions Lead

Mission: The Cluster IT Transport Solutions Lead is responsible for the implementation of IT solutions at cluster level. The overall role purpose is to lead and manage IT product and solution deployment in the sub-region/cluster effectively to ensure appropriate, cost effective and standardized solutions are implemented for customers. This includes installing and monitoring the right level of solution governance in accordance with the regional solution governance policies. The Cluster IT Solutions Lead steers a team of business analysts, application consultants and solution managers (size dependent on cluster) and works in close collaboration with the MLEMEA regional IT Products/Solutions team. Accountabilities: - Lead the sub regional IT Solutions team to meet the goals in terms of quality, budget and time.- Build strong working relationships with (key) business partners and functions in the country or cluster. Proactively engage with them on IT plans, programs and initiatives and maintain an overview of new business and change initiatives that require IT support.- Provide consultation, guidance and technical expertise with respect to leading-edge products and solutions (WMS, TMS, integration, BI, etc.). This includes ensuring architectural input on design, development, implementation and strategy of major opportunities/solutions.- Account for and drive deployment of all solutions in the cluster, including technically complex migrations and transition programs. This includes business analysis, system configuration (incl. development where required and aligned with regional/global teams) and solution management/governance.- Account for and drive delivery of change requests on existing business applications and solutions. - Drive the team towards identifying (continuous) improvements to our logistics services, operational processes and IT solutions. - Install and monitor the right level of solution governance to maintain standards in accordance with the regional solution governance policies, and represent the cluster in regional governance bodies where required.
