Logistics specialists are responsible for different areas of the logistics business such as monitoring of international transportation, custom clearance support, warehousing business and all related tasks related to the good management of the warehouse such as inbound, outbound, accuracy control, expenses control, etc; local delivery along the country, and whole reverse logistics process.Logistics specialists are coordinated by the Logistics Manager and are in permanent contact with the different Logistics Service Providers and Supply Chain Specialists from the same department.Main TasksThis position will require the following INTERNAL relationships:Project Team – Frequently communication with different members of Project Team.SCM Dept and – Daily communication with other members of the SCM Dept, both local and HQ members.HQ SCM Dept. – Frequently communication with other members of the SCM Dept, both local and HQ members.This position will interface with the following EXTERNAL relationshipsLogistics Service Provider – Daily communication with our main Logistics Service Provider by email and phone.Subcontractors – Frequently communication with Huawei subcontractors in order to organize local transportation, reverse material, etc.Background and previous experienceThis position requires some previous experience on the logistics business or proven academic background on Supply Chain / Logistics / International Trade)Previous experience working with a Logistics Service Provider or telecom company will be an advantage. This position also requires previous experience working with warehouse management systems, ERPs, and also strong MS Office skills.Requirements: Logistics or international trade knowledge, preferable on warehousing operations and local transportation.Local law and regulation related to local and international transportation knowledge
