Job Description As our future  Key Account Manager, Softgoods,  you are the category owner of the assigned strategic accounts. You are responsible for driving profitable sales growth with the customer for the assigned category by articulating the potential of the account. The scope of the role covers Spain for the Softgoods category including Footwear, Apparel, Bags & Gear. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for: Joint Business Plan (JBP) Ownership and Execution Owns the category within the JBP and develop Sales & Marketing strategies. Articulates the product needs of the customer, based on the Customer Value Assessment (CVA) and accounts strategy. You build strong connections with key decision makers, buying teams, merchandisers and marketing teams. Seasonal Commercial Plan Provides accurate pre-season forecasts and monthly in-season shipping forecasts to the business. Works closely with commercial/merchandising teams to develop programs and product ranges to deliver against the JBP. Order Book Ownership Manage the order book and ensures it is tightly managed according to internal policies and customer expectations - alignment with order entry, following up and manage challenges.     Sell Thru Activities/ Brand Presence  Responsible for managing sell-through activities together with Marketing, monitoring the execution of seasonal sales programs. Ensures exceptional brand presence in the account stores and online. Visit the market and shops to ensure the quality of our in-store presence and visibility of our products. Qualifications Essential Skills & Experience You possess 5-8 years of experience in Sales positions in B2B/pure retailers in the sports or footwear market. You have excellent selling, relationship building and analytical skills. Essential Competencies Customer Focus:  You put customer needs at the center of organizational decision making. You take action for customers, continually delivering improved service offerings and takes special actions which are not standard business practice in the interest of the customer. Market Knowledge:  You understand the market context in which the business operates – knowledge of competitors, customers, partners. You demonstrate profound knowledge of industry and company value drivers that could be leveraged to reshape the market, industry, or the company's competitive position. Relationship Building: You are able to understand others motivations, find mutual connections; have a good level of inter-personal sensitivity & sociability. Identify and nurture stakeholder relationships. Critical Thinking: You have the ability to analyse situations and information, to form objective judgement and problem solve effectively. Utilise multiple methods to socialise problems and gather information; apply accuracy, empathy, relevance, precision, and logic in your thinking. Desired Qualifications Languages: Spanish and English fluency IT:  Microsoft Office Suite, good knowledge of excel in order to mange big data files, use V look up and pivot tables. You are able to create your own reporting and effective PowerPoint presentations. Additional Information Permanent Contract, Full Time Job based in Barcelona, Spain
