The role will work closely with the rest of process engineering areas of New Product Integration department and key stakeholders involved in productivity improvement tasks.Do you want to be a part of the world market leader in On/Offshore wind industry?For our Global Process Engineering Nacelle department in Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, we are looking for an analytical and innovative Manufactoring/ Production/ Process Engineer for New Product Introduction and New Plant set up projects (NPI/NPP).How to contribute to our vision:Your key responsibilities will be to contribute the strategy for setting the production engineering standards within manufacturing and documentation for implementing of new and redesigned products in the production worldwide.- You will work closely with internal stakeholders such as production, PMO, production equipment development, R&D;, quality and EHS.- Striving to deliver the best in class of implementation of new product and plant set up, your will driving the process flow for how to assembly the wind turbine nacelle in a flowless and- Lean production environment, with high focus on safety, quality and cost.- You will be providing input and requirement to the design on early review basis to ensure the product is designed for manufacturing.- The production engineer role will also be driving other activities as factory layout, process flow, PFMEA, line balance, storyboard etc.- You will be part of a team,that will help and support you in the start.- There is an expectation of 60-80 days travelling abroad pr. Year.What you need to make a difference:Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for:- A structured team player with high communication skills, who thrives by securing that goals are met according to the schedule and strategy.- You hold a degree in one of the above Engineering degree or equivalent, either as Master, or Bachelor, preferably combined with years of relevant experience within the wind energy industry or similar.- You hold a high degree of knowledge in assembly processes, production layout and logistics setup for production.
