While daily interactions are not the norm, we believe in the power of flexibility and are looking for someone who is open to occasional after-hours engagement. Your Daily Responsibilities: Lead and shape the engineering team, guiding architectural decisions and overseeing product implementation.Provide expert guidance and mentorship to a Ruby on Rails engineering team.Collaborate with stakeholders to define strategic directions, project timelines, and product roadmaps.Serve as a pivotal point of contact for technical matters within the company.Play a key role in hiring top engineering talent, fostering exceptional teams.Contribute to defining and executing a forward-looking architecture for scalability and performance.Champion novel ideas, driving technical and product enhancements.Combine hands-on coding with collaborative teamwork, ensuring code quality through reviews and documentation.Participate in support cycles, ensuring the stability and excellence of our product.Qualifications We're Seeking: Demonstrated leadership in Ruby on Rails development, with a proven track record of successful projects.Strong grasp of DevOps tools and technologies, including databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Travis, etc.), and cloud platforms (AWS, Heroku, Google Cloud).Solid experience in web app development, RESTful APIs, and database systems.Fluency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including relevant frameworks.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
