We also help industries and governments to navigate the many complex, interrelated transitions taking place globally and regionally, in the energy industry.About the role: Our Energy Systems business unit in SEMELA (Southern Europe, Middle-East, Africa, and Latin America) is seeking a Hydrogen Engineer. The SEMELA Hydrogen Team is growing quickly to meet the expanding demand for expert hydrogen advisory services in the region. As a technical expert, you will be supporting your team with your knowledge of Hydrogen technologies for delivering technical advisory services across the SEMELA region. You will also be involved in the development of energy models for hybrid solutions including Renewables, Energy Storage Systems, Hydrogen production, and Hydrogen derivatives.Your main tasks will focus on:Developing and maintaining hydrogen production models in Python.Executing or managing Hydrogen-related advisory projects.Extending your external network and identifying sales and market-led opportunities for energy storage.Analyzing new business opportunities and gathering market intelligence.Building an internal network to gain and share knowledge and opportunities.Most of the work will be desk-based, but international travel for site and customer visits will be required at times (estimated at 5% to 20% of your time, depending on the projects you are involved in).
