With over 40 years of experience and extensive knowledge of thepolymers industry, we walk along our customers all the way from material specification to final applicationapproval, becoming an integral part of the value chain.Position Purpose:As our Logistics Specialist, you will be performing activities related to Nexeo logistics partners' management(warehousing & outbound transportation) around EMEA. Get the material flow through our warehouses to thecustomer in a smooth and efficient manner, not only for Nexeo but for our logistic vendors also. Optimize Safety,Quality, Service and Cost for the own operation scope. This position will be based in the Barcelona EuropeanHeadquarters.Primary Responsibilities:Performance / Issue managemento Safety, Health and Environment complianceo Quality (complaints, damages)o €/T control vs budgeto Invoice review and credit notes managemento Booking agenda controlTransactional (different approach depending on integration level with the logistics partner)o DN (Delivery Note) creationo GI (Post Goods Issue)o GR (Goods Receipt)o Cancellations, corrections and material checks for all activity, stock adjustmentso Stock take auditsManage local repacking activityAd hoco Support tendering & contracting initiatives in own geographical scopeo Make sure 3PL have all Material Data Sheet and follows out SHE standardso Contribute to define procedures and flow diagrams with regards Nexeo Quality Systemo Overseas supply support and import customs clearanceOther duties as assignedPrimary Requirements:Hard skillso English Proficiency (Other EMEA languages are welcome, especially Catalan and Spanish).o Microsoft office, Excel advancedo SAP (MM and SD modules) advanced usero 3 years' experience in Logisticso BSc or MSc preferably in Engineering Sciences (Supply Chain / Logistics degrees will be an asset)Soft skills:o Customer orientedo Data driveno Analyticalo Methodologicalo Problem solvingo Team work / cooperationo Attitudeo Interpersonal peopleo Communicationo Assertiveo Critical observationo Adaptability#J-18808-Ljbffr
