Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of experience in preparing bids or acting as a design engineer in the field of photovoltaics.BSc/BA in electrical engineering, construction or relevant field.Excellent communication skills in English and SpanishExcellent organizational skills, communication skills - oral and written - and attention to detail are essential for this positionAnalytical, detail-oriented thinker with excellent problem-solving skillsStrong time management and organizational skills to ensure efficient completion of multiple tasks and deadlines.In-depth understanding of bidding principles and processes.Proficient ability to read electrical schematics and use AutoCAD for design purposes.Practical knowledge of PV system is highly desirable.Advanced knowledge of MS Office programs is required.Ability to prioritize, work under pressure and meet targetsKnowledge of component suppliers will be an additional advantageResponsibilities:Detailed analysis/review of technical documentation provided by the customerPrepare preliminary technical information and design; including PV layouts, SLD, PVSyst simulationProposing initial design assumptions (including selection of installation components) necessary to define a bill of quantities for accurate cost calculations for projectsPreparation of costs and price calculations, ensuring accuracy and alignment with bid requirementsPreparation of commercial and technical proposalsAnalysis of the engineering documentation provided by the customer for optimization purposesCoordinate with various internal departments such as procurement, design, operations, contract, legal, and others to share/collect and review information essential for bid preparationProvide technical support for the Business Development team in discussions, clarifications, and negotiations with clients as necessary during the bidding processParticipate in the Bid/No Bid process to validate opportunitiesBuilding strong relationships with suppliers/subcontractors and collecting offers in the bidding processCollect bid-related information and organize it to support the continuous improvement of the bidding process.Actively propose actions and participate in the continuous improvement process to optimize bidding strategies and outcomes.Job Type: Full-timeExperience:- conctruction / PV: 1 year (Required)Language:- English B2 (Required)- Spanish B2 (Preferred)Work Location: Remote#J-18808-Ljbffr
