A&M Financial Services Industry (FSI) is a multinational division within the firm that works with leading financial services institutions across Europe and the USA, and revolves around four core areas of expertise: M&A, Performance Improvement, Credit and Real Estate Advisory, Bank Restructuring and Regulatory Advisory.
Within A&Ms FSI, the M&A Financial Institutions Group (FIG) team advises a wide range of clients, from traditional players (Banks, Insurers, Asset and Wealth Managers) to FinTechs and Specialty Finance Institutions as well as Private Equity firms. The team focuses on EMEA coverage and is headquartered in London, Madrid, Milan and Paris.
Currently we are looking for a full-time off-cycle analyst that will join us for an initial period with the aim of full team integration, thereafter, starting as soon as possible. You will be part of an international team and your day-to-day tasks will be quite diverse and include taking a proactive role in:
Responsibilities: Performing strategic and financial analyses of sectors and / or companies.Assisting with the preparation of marketing and transaction materials, always under the guidance of more senior members of the team.Attending team discussions, where you may be asked to deliver parts of a presentation.The candidate will be part of a growing team and will play a critical role within day-to-day origination efforts and execution of challenging and visible M&A transactions.Requirements: Relevant academic background in engineering or financePrevious internship / work experience is a plusAction-oriented self-starter with strong analytical skillsMethodical and logical mindset to problem solving, an effective approach to time management and the ability to work to tight deadlinesUnderstanding of an M&A process and its deliverablesFluent business level English & Spanish is essential.
