col-wideJob Description:The senior engineer (preferably in Chemical Engineering) will be involved in the project to ensure the overall coordination of the Manufacturing Excellence approach within the local site, in order to contribute to different local production units ability to reach their own OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and Reliability performance indicators targets. Also Energy and Raw Materials efficiency.This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the worlds largest chemical companies. Focused in the production of different chemical products.The senior engineer will work in the site located in the Barcelona metropolitan area, and focused in the PVC production.The senior engineer will be integrated into the local Management team and into the Central Manufacturing Excellence Team.Main tasks will be:- Identify opportunities to improve business processes.- Develop continous improvement culture, mindset and behaviors across the site.- Define, deploy and implement Manufacturing Excellence projects and tools, and track results.- Ensure communication, reporting and sharing of experience across the site.- Ensure communication, reporting and sharing of experience with the Central Manufacturing Excellence Team.- Maintain updated about and get trained in the Manufacturing Excellence methodologies and tools applied by the groups.- Support the quality technician in his/her actions regarding Integrated Management System.The senior engineer needs operational experience; strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead, influence, coach and develop a team; a strong operations presence in the field and be available and accessible in support of the site; and ability to organize and animate field observations.Global and multicultural internal stakeholders. So, a competent level of English language knowledge is necessary.Travel availability.Remuneración bruta anual en función del grado de cumplimiento de los requisitos.Aptitudes y conocimientos deseados:- Engineering education. Preferably Chemical Engineering studies. -Minimum 7 years with operational experience in the chemical industrie. -Proven expertise in Manufacturing Excellence. -Master Black Belt or Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma. -Experience and knowledge in Integrated Management System and ISO Standards. -Leadership skills. -Enthusiastic with the field presence and fieldwork. -Competent level of English language.
