Marketplace Specialist – Amazon Focus (m/f/d)Online marketplaces have never been this awesome. As a Marketplace Specialist you will work in the given fields:Operations and Communications:• Act as the primary POC for the dedicated Amazon country, taking ownership of the channel and assuming responsibility for overall performance, including sales, customer satisfaction, advertising, and compliance.• Collaborate with Vendor Managers to align on product selection, set priorities, and manage stock levels effectively.• Work closely with the Product Data Team to ensure accurate and optimized product information and offer quality.Product Performance and Offer Management:• Monitor and analyze the performance of top-selling items, adjusting strategies to maximize sales and visibility.• Manage stock levels, ensuring product availability to meet customer demand.• Adjust prices and set promotions on amazon to help drive sales and profits• Support new products upload, for other brands outside the METRO family.• Conduct regular analysis of portfolio profitability, considering cost of goods sold, advertising costs and other fees.• Ensure adherence to Amazon's policies and best practices.• Maintain positive account health, reviews, and feedback score.• Own and manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) for the assigned marketsAmazon PPC and Promotion Performance:• Manage monthly budget and recommend adjustments based on performance.• Establish and manage different promotion types including Deals, Vouchers, Quantity Discounts.• Able to learn the logic of the ads and collaborate in managing the campaigns You've got • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.• Proven experience in marketplace management, with a focus on Amazon.• Strong analytical skills and the ability to run performance analyses.• Proficiency in creating and managing promotions on Amazon.• Experience in running effective marketing campaigns on e-commerce platforms.• Knowledge of pricing strategies and the ability to create pricing rules.• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.• Ability to manage country-specific responsibilities, ensuring targets are met.• Familiarity with vendor management and strategy alignment with marketplaces.• Understanding of Product Data Management (PDM) processes.• Fluent in English and ideally in one of the following languages: Italian, French or German.
