Medical Manager & Operational Excellence Lead Medical Manager & Operational Excellence Lead EmailThe Medical Liaison Manager is critical enabler role for the execution of the medical strategy in the field of the BU RD, and should:with the Iberia Medical Lead, core medical affairs initiatives such as congress & publication strategy, symposia, data generation, advisory boards and field-medical material localisation/ trainingthe execution of complex medical/scientific projects and contributes to the achievement of shared objectives.update his/her skills and knowledge of the therapeutic area, patient treatment trends, clinical trials and scientific activities in the field of DMD.and maintain a national and regional database of key strategic contacts for each relevant product and disease area.and support core partner functions including sales, marketing, and market access, working in a crossfunctional environmentAccountability Descriptions:Designs & delivers core medical affairs external engagement/partnership projects (in close collaboration with Medical Director)of medical information accurate, unbiased, and balanced and deliver best in class, scientific, educational meetings.Maintains an up to date and high-level knowledge of the therapy area & products, new and emerging areas of research, therapeutic issues, and trends.Develops mutually beneficial relationships with national, regional, and local External Experts in Spain & Portugal, leading to a productive two-way scientific exchange and achievement of mutually agreed upon objectives related to educational projects, data generation, publications, etc.REQUIRED:A minimum of 3 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry in Medical Affairs type role, dealing with hospital products (desirable Rare Diseases)MSL experience preferred.Ability to research and critically analyze and communicate complex scientific and medical information and data.Clear and concise communication and presentation skills.Excellent planning and organization skills, with high-level attention to detail and accuracy.Strong strategic mindset.Highly self-motivated and ability to work autonomously.knowledge of local regulations related to industry interactions with Spain & Portugal healthcare professionals.for 30% travel nationally & occasional international travel.
