Our Medical Affairs team advances patient care by engaging in scientific exchange with external medical experts and industry professionals ensuring the scientific value of our products is realized. We engage and train internal employees to ensure that they thoroughly comprehend the science behind the medicine and review further unmet medical needs to bolster collaboration and further differentiate our portfolio.
We are seeking a Field Based Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join us on one of the most exciting projects in the pharmaceutical industry. With 50 years of research, development and commercialization of medicines in the cardiovascular therapeutic area, we are on the forefront of groundbreaking research and collaboration for improvement of patients´ outcomes.
Responsibilities: Engagement with the Medical and Scientific Community:
Develop relationships with regional and national cardiovascular scientific leaders.
Facilitate unbiased scientific information exchange and collaboration through medical education and research projects.
Design and implement scientific leader engagement plans and foster long-term collaboration with national experts.
Communicate available evidence to help those responsible for health-care decisions, make informed choices that improve patients´ health outcomes.
Scientific and Medical Expertise:
Act as a medical ambassador, representing the company in the assigned area.
Become a recognized scientific expert in our cardiovascular products and therapeutic area.
Contribute as a speaker or discussant in external meetings and scientific conferences.
Stay updated on major studies, competitive product information, and clinical data.
Integral part of the national Medical Affairs team:
Provide feedback for the development of cardiovascular country medical affairs plans.
Focus on implementing assigned projects and activities within the medical plan.
Serve as a medical affairs representative within our cross-functional field-based company structure.
Guiding Principles and Practices:
Engage in in-depth scientific exchanges in the cardiovascular area, leading to knowledge transfer initiatives and research.
Foster bi-directional exchange of ideas with healthcare professionals.
Follow company and local regulatory standards in reporting scientific results and discussions.
Requirements: Training and Knowledge:
Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or Life Sciences at a PhD level.
Specialization and/or clinical/research experience in the cardiovascular therapeutic area, preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles in the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong scientific knowledge and understanding of clinical research methodology.
Fluency in Spanish and English.
