PhD in Microbiology or equivalent experience under library development for whole genome sequencing (WGS) of bacteria with Nanophore and/or Illumina platforms will be determinant. This person will be in charge of taking over and managing activities of the project Development of a new intelligent and predictive tool for the early diagnosis and improved treatment of sepsis funded by Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación. The overall project goal is to develop a precision medicine solution for the diagnosis of sepsis by combining faster pathogen identification and antimicrobial susceptibility results, together with an immune system classifier method to deliver a rapid and accurate management of the patient.What We Are Looking for ISGlobal is seeking a person who provides highly qualified input and research support in order to better exploit the scientific contribution of the project.
