A skilled QA Engineer will be not only a great contribution to that but also a key player for the QA team. You will apply your skills across the software development lifecycle to contribute to the ongoing success of the project. How will you make an impact?Test Planning and Execution:Develop test plans, test scenarios and test cases specifically for mobile applicationsValidate the functionality, usability, and consistency of mobile applicationsDesigning automatable test cases and act as a bridge between Automation squad by ensuring testability and automatabilityCross-platform TestingDefect Tracking, Reporting, Followup and Documentation:Document and track all identified bugs, inconsistencies and issuesCollaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution of issuesUser Experience Testing:Provide feedback on app design and functionality from the user's perspectiveContinuous Improvement:Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in mobile application testingBuild a deep understanding of the Lodgify web and mobile platforms, as well as a strong intuition around our architecture and codebase to guide your sense for common issues that may ariseQuality Assurance Best Practices:Ensure software meets all requirements of quality including reliability, usability, and performanceTeam Collaboration and Mentorship:Collaborate and work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycleOwn communication throughout the sprint/release cycle, quality and delivery of the entire featureCoordinate testing effort with other team members and communicate adequately to the team about the test data needs. What makes you a great fit?1-2 year experience as a Software Quality Assurance EngineerMobile application testing experience is a MUSTUnderstand different types of mobile apps (native, Hybrid, web) and also different devices (iPhone, Android, Windows, macOS)Possess good exposure on Functional, Integration, Installation, Upgrade, Compatibility, GUI, Smoke, Ad hoc, and Regression testing.
