Posted on:26/03/2024Job type:PermanentSector:TransportMission: Your mission will be to develop valuation models and economic-financial analysis that support decision-making in asset acquisition, bidding, and divestment processes; as well as the valuation of assets in the portfolio to make proposals that optimize the economic and financial viability of these assets. Responsibilities: Develop, coordinate, and manage the preparation of financial valuation models. These models will support decision making in acquisition, bidding, and financing processes. Perform economic and financial analysis and valuation of investment and divestment projects of the business unit. This will be done in collaboration with business development, financing, taxation, external advisors, and partners. Draft the necessary documentation to comply with procedures in the investment and project financing analysis. This includes both internal procedures within the company and external procedures required by regulatory bodies or stakeholders. The documentation will provide a comprehensive analysis of the investment and project financing, including financial projections, risk assessments, and other relevant information to support decision-making processes. Analize the assets in the portfolio and making proposals to optimize their economic and financial viability. This analysis will help identify opportunities for improvement and suggest strategies to enhance the performance and profitability of the assets. Prepare and update the valuation models of the assets in the portfolio. These models will be used for both internal purposes and for processes involving third parties. Prepare specific "ad hoc" studies that are relevant for decision-making by Senior Management. These studies will provide in-depth analysis and insights on specific financial topics or projects to support strategic decision-making. Provide support to the department in the preparation of financial reports. This may include gathering and analyzing financial data, preparing financial statements, and assisting in the creation of comprehensive reports that provide a clear overview of the financial performance of the company. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering (with subsequent training in the area of finance) and high motivation for investment analysis and project finance. Valuable Master's in Finance or MBA from a prestigious business school or CFA. At least 8-10 years of experience in the described responsibilities. Valuable to have worked in an industrial company or in the Modeling or Project Finance department of a Big Four. Valuable to have a very high level in the preparation of financial models for the valuation of investments in the industrial sector with complex financing structures. Essential to have a high level of programming in Visual Basic. Native or very high level of English is required. Valuable to have some level of Spanish. Availability to travel. Skills: Analytical, problem-solving and strategic planning capacity. High level of proactivity and autonomy in the continuous search for improvements and proposal of solutions. Ability to make decisions quickly and in a context of limited information. Flexibility and ability to react under pressure. Communication skills. Teamwork.
