We work at the core of the industry that moves us every day.Tasks & Responsibilities:We are looking for a Molding Project Manager in Martorell area:The candidate will be responsible for the development of new molds (and related automation), or improvements to existing ones, for the injection of plastic components. He/she will oversee the execution of each project, from the initial concept though design development, construction, start-up, validation and transfer to production.He/she will be the subject matter expert for any questions and inquiries related with plastic components, both internally and for our customers, with the goal of bringing in new business.Tasks:Lead engineering projects for the development of new molds and the improvement of existing onesWork together with the clients (internal or external) in the product design development, including Design For Moldability (DFM)Define user requirements and specifications for the moldsLead the mold vendor selection to identify the right manufacturer for the moldFollow up the mold design and constructionDefine and execute test protocols for process development and performance verification (FAT/SAT).Provide support for process validationCreate, track and meet project schedules, plans and budgetCoordinate with team members, as well as internal and external suppliers, through the different milestones and project reviewsPrepare the necessary documentation for the transfer to production (SOPs, maintenance plans, control plans, etc.)Document the progress of the projects following the internal methodologyProvide engineering support to processes and equipment in production when necessaryWe offer:Permanent contractLife insuranceTicket restaurantSkills & Knowledge:Minimum education level: Engineering degree, ideally Mechanical EngineeringMinimum 5 year of experience in mold design and development, ideally in highly-regulated fieldProven ability to work in a cross-functional environment with all levels of leadershipProficient with 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorksMicrosoft Office Skills and basic knowledge of SAPFluent in English, speaking and writingEducation & Experience:Why Formel D?Job Location:Sant Esteve Sesrovires (Barcelona)Employment Type:******
