There is flexibility in the location of this role (although ideally located within a major metropolitan area) with MT hiring for VPs focused on turnarounds and transformations in multiple offices globally.MT is a unit of McKinsey, founded in 2010, that focuses exclusively on holistic transformations and corporate restructuring. We help clients drive rapid and dramatic performance improvement, plus provide a full suite of services to support companies facing liquidity issues or insolvency. With ~150 dedicated RTS consultants and ~250 generalist consultants among our global affiliates, we serve clients in more than 50 countries, many of which are among the largest impact situations for the firm globally.MT has two service lines: Turnarounds & Transformations (T&T) and Corporate Restructuring (CR). While the CR service line focuses on leading complex corporate restructuring programs at companies facing acute performance issues, liquidity concerns, potential covenant violations and other issues that are destabilizing to the enterprise, the T&T service line focuses on driving rapid performance improvement for any business with significant performance improvement potential and an aspirational leader (ranging from distressed to "good to great" situations)
