We're dedicated to advancing systems that tackle global environmental challenges.Responsibilities:Design and Implementation: Craft network solutions aligned with customer requisites. Demonstrate expertise in switching (LAN) and routing (WAN), capable of conceptualizing network design from scratch, both logically and physically. Experience with VPNs and firewalls is essential.Cybersecurity Compliance: Ensure project adherence to cybersecurity requirements. Define technical security specifications for equipment in alignment with company and country-specific standards.Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting support, leveraging your problem-solving capabilities.System Integration and Testing: Play a pivotal role in integrating and testing systems aboard customer vessels.Adherence to Standards: Ensure work is executed in compliance with legal and company protocols, including health and safety policies. Desired Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent practical experience.Experience: Extensive background in network engineering.Advantageous Skills: Previous experience in cyber security implementation. Exposure to acoustic sensors, field service, and customer-facing roles is beneficial.Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in computer operating systems, general analogue and digital hardware.Language Skills: Fluent in both written and spoken English.
