You are curious by nature and enjoy interacting daily with colleagues and clients, plus having excellent communication skills in Spanish and an upper intermediate level of English, do not hesitate to apply!As our future Clinical Bioinformatician you will :Design, benchmark and validate new pipelines for genetic diagnosis.Coordinate with the team to define and apply the best algorithms considering the input data for each situation.Provide consultation as a clinical bioinformatics specialist.Work hand in hand with a multidisciplinary group of data engineers to set up the genomic data strategy.Keep up to date with the latest publications in bioinformatics and trends in the field of genetics.Your profileYou have at least 3 years of experience, a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Informatics,and / or a Master's degree related to Bioinformatics or Computational Biology.You have experience developing pipeline analysis in a clinical environment.You have experience in quality analysis for genetic diagnosis .You design genetic analysis workflows based on functional requirements and data needs.You are used to working with Python and / or R, as well as with the main bioinformatics libraries and repositories such as HTSlib, Picard, Bedtools, Snpeff, Hail, or related ones.You have experience with pipeline orchestrators such as Cromwell, Snakemake or NextflowYou have experience working with mutational, gene expression, biomedical or clinical datasets .You have experience with Git or other version control tools.You have experience working with Agile Methodologies, Scrum, and some knowledge of DevOps .It will be considered as a plus :- Ph.D.or Scientific publications in the Bioinformatics area.- Knowledge or experience in pharmacogenomics.Knowledge or experience in statistical analysis and machine learning.Experience working in clinical or research networks such as CIBERER, CIBERONC, or Transbionet
