O Subject Matter Expert - IT - Valencia/Remote - 6-Month Contract New long term contract opportunity for a freelance IT professional with an excellent understanding of all things O, especially Exchange! You'll join an international organisation and deliver on-going support and administration of Microsoft services, including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID and other related messaging and collaboration systems. This role can be worked onsite at the client site in Valencia, Spain, or you can be fully remote within the CET timezone. It's a standard working week (40 hours) but may also include occasional weekend or on call support for holiday/out of hours periods.Your responsibilities will include:Design, implementation, administration and maintenance of O servicesImplementing, managing and maintaining standard configurations, monitoring and analysis toolsDesign, final testing and deployment of messaging and collaboration solutions and related systemsAnalysing the technical needs of customers, end-users and stakeholders Resolving incidentsMonitoring, alerting and reporting of the Messaging and Collaboration servicesDocumenting proceduresYou will have:At least 3 years of experience in managing, operating, and maintaining a large, multi-site and complex messaging infrastructure based on Microsoft Exchange.At least 1 year of experience working with customers on the Cloud and M specific solutions and deployments.Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience as global administrator for Microsoft tenant Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Exchange //Exchange Online, MS Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Yammer and others.Very good knowledge in scripting, in particular PowerShell scripting and MS Graph to automate processes in MS Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams and other M components.Very good knowledge of MS Active Directory / Azure Identity in a complex environment (Knowledge of SMTP Relay, Message Hygiene related technologies (such as DMARC, EOP, ATP/Defender)Compliance (DLP, Purview, eDiscovery)Journaling and Archiving (Enterprise Vault or O archiving)Excellent knowledge of English both written and verbalThere will be a single stage Teams interview for shortlisted candidates in early May with a view to onboard someone later that month or 1st June.
