(O-834) - Project Engineer

Amec Foster Wheeler Energia, a company within the Wood group, is looking for a Project Engineer for HTS department with proven experience in heat exchangers designs.The successful candidate will join the discipline team working in our current major projects and will report to the designated discipline lead or manager.Participates in the coordination of the engineering activities during the development of the projectCoordinates the preparation of Project Specifications by the various discipline departmentsAssists / prepares the Project Execution Plan (PEP) in collaboration with the Lead Engineer and the Project ManagerPrepares the thermal and mechanical designs, material requisition for packages, etc.,interfacing with the project team and the ClientAssists the Engineering Coordinator in the review of approved Project schedules and ensures that the Detailed Programs include all the Engineering activities of the units under his chargePrepares the Project Specifications as assignedPrepares the requisitions of the assigned package units or special equipments and the corresponding technical tabulationsReviews and approves the vendor drawings of the equipments requisitioned by him / herself.Identifies and follows up the Contract ChangesPrepares man-hour estimates to support contract changesAssists / prepares the monthly Progress ReportTechnical skills for detail engineering work.Relevant Diploma / Degree in Mining, Industrial or Chemical EngineeringProven record ranging from 2 to 5 years of relevant experience performing equivalent duties, preferably with heat exchangers designsConversant with international codes and standards (ANSI, ASME, API, NFPA, etc)Knowledge of Autocad, SolidWorks, Codecalc / PvElite and HTRITeamwork capabilities, flexibility,problem solving attitude, orientation to results, relational skills, specific technical knowledgeReady to work in an international environment and to learn international engineering working practicesSpanish language at native levelExcellent command of EnglishValid European Work PermitDriving licenceHace más de 30 díasEscribe tu dirección de correo electrónico, te permitirá de estar al tanto de los últimos empleos por: (o-834) - project engineer Escribe tu dirección de correo electrónico, te permitirá de estar al tanto de los últimos empleos por: (o-834) - project engineer#J-18808-Ljbffr
