We don't just go with the flow- we manage it, together with our service-focused, competent, motivated teams around the world.Simply put, our Logistics function ensures the right product arrives at the right place, at the right time, with the right quality and at the right cost within all channels– with the least possible impact on the environment.Welcome to Logistics!Job Description › WE ACT AS BUSINESS PARTNER TO TRANSPORT OPERATIONS MANAGER TO ACHIEVE BUSINESS RESULTS, OPTIMIZE PERFORMANCE AND ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITHIN TRANSPORT."Owner and speaking partner in the budget process and related financial monthly and quarterly closings› Analysis of current and past financial data , variance analysis, expense monitoring, follow-up of KPIs› Analyze and give insights and suggested actions on the data computed and collected› Identify business opportunities to increase cost efficiency in the transportation network› Set the report structure and visual framework for the presentation of results in recurring meetings and/or send outs› Computing and calculating all financial aspects in a tender process› Managing CO2 reporting from all contracted partners in the day-to-day business as well as in tenders› Responsible to ensure the quality and that requirements are met in all cost and sustainability appendixes in the RFP package› Responsible for invoice control and rate follow up for all connected carriers and suppliers› Computing all transport related data to reflect the agreed KPIs in score cards and regional reports› Maintain close dialogue with managers and team members over business development and financial topicsQualifications › Deep knowledge of controlling, logistics, transport, related software and regional specifics , as well as operational capabilities› Good understanding of cross-functional departments and collaboration within Regions›Solid skills in project mgmt., prioritization and business case› Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset› Collaborative cross-functional working mode and solid communication skillsAdditional Information This is a full-time position based on our Online Distribution Center in Illesas within Logistics Region Europe Cluster South and reporting directly to DC Online Manager Illescas and Regional Online Transport Manager.
