Operations, Maintenance, and Support Lead Mining - Engineering & Maintenance (Mining, Resources & Energy) Position Overview:The Operations, Maintenance and Support (OMS) Lead will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading a new operations and maintenance team within our organization. This individual will be responsible for formulating strategies, building and designing the team, overseeing day-to-day operations, providing technical and customer support, and ensuring the efficient and effective maintenance of our solar power systems. The OMS Lead will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to drive growth, optimize performance, and deliver exceptional service toour clients.Responsibilities:1. Strategy Formation:• Develop and implement strategies for establishing and scaling the operations and maintenance function within the company.• Define goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and effectiveness of the OMS team.• Identify market trends, industry best practices, and opportunities for innovation to enhance our service offerings and competitive advantage.2. Team Building and Design:• Recruit, hire, and onboard a team of OMS technicians and support staff, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values.• Design organizational structure, roles, and responsibilities to optimize efficiency and productivity within the OMS team.• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting professionaldevelopment, cross-training, and knowledge sharing among team members.3. Team Leadership and Management:• Lead, mentor, and inspire the OMS team to achieve high levels of performance, quality, and customer satisfaction.• Provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to support individual growth anddevelopment.• Establish clear expectations, goals, and performance metrics for team members, holding them accountable for results.4. Operations and Maintenance Coordination:• Oversee the scheduling and execution of preventive maintenance, correctivemaintenance, and troubleshooting activities for solar power systems.• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards duringmaintenance operations.• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to procure necessary materials and equipment for maintenance tasks.5. Customer and Technical Support:• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding OMS-related inquiries, issues, and service requests.• Provide timely and effective technical support to clients, troubleshooting issues and resolving problems to ensure system functionality and customer satisfaction.• Communicate proactively with clients to provide updates on maintenance activities, system performance, and potential issues.• Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to identify opportunities for upselling maintenance services and promoting customer loyalty.6. Documentation and Reporting:• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, andperformance metrics.• Generate reports detailing maintenance schedules, work completed, and system performance for internal and external stakeholders.• Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop case studies andtestimonials highlighting successful OMS projects.  Your application will include the following questions: What's your expected monthly basic salary?
