A Lead Consultant at Argano is a highly experienced professional in the consulting family responsible for managing mid-to-large-size client engagements and contributing to the growth and development of the consulting practice. They provide expert advice, guidance, and solutions related to technology to businesses and organizations. They are indirect mentors to other areas and grades. Their goal is to help clients optimize their technology infrastructure, processes, and strategies to achieve their business objectives more efficiently and effectively. Lead consultants work with security, data management, crisis management and should demonstrate exceptional knowledge of technology to deliver quality work that will drive customer satisfaction, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team.
The Project Portfolio Management functional consultant is expected to have expertise in implementing Oracle Cloud PPM applications. The successful candidate will have completed two or more end-to-end implementations of Oracle Cloud PPM. This position focuses on guiding and assisting clients through all phases of implementation in the area of Oracle Cloud PPM. An Oracle Cloud PPM consultant defines client business requirements, designs and configures the system solution for order management applications, and assists with system validation, go-live preparation and support.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead mid to large size and complex consulting projects simultaneously.Using in-depth knowledge of the Oracle Cloud Project Portfolio Management. This should include:Resource Management,Task ManagementProject FinancialsProject Contract BillingTime and Labor for ProjectsGrant ManagementIndustry expert with PPM business process.Knowledge of industry best practicesAbility to consult with clients to provide cost effective solutions to client business scenarios.Works collaboratively with project team and client employees to develop, test, and implement Oracle Clouds solutions.Refine customer requirements in detail, document and present to the client for approval.Identifies and applies creative and innovative approaches to resolving product implementation and integration obstacles and problems.Analyze current systems and data to identify new requirements, recognizing the need for systems enhancements or modifications if necessary.Develop unit test scripts and coordinate with the client to perform the User Acceptance Testing of the system enhancements or custom solutions.Work with Oracle to resolve service requests.Lead and direct the following phases of system life cycle:Gather business requirements through business process workshops,Analysis, design, configure and development solutions for Oracle Maintenance applications,Conference Room Pilots (CRP) and User Acceptance Testing,Go-Live preparation and cut-over support and post-production support.Develop and implement long-term client strategies.Act as the primary point of contact for clients. Effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Keep all parties informed about project progress, challenges, and changes.Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and technology requirements. Conduct thorough assessments to identify areas where technology can drive improvements and efficiencies.Provide expert advice on technology solutions and tools that can enhance the client's operations. Help clients make informed decisions about adopting and implementing new technologies.Collaborate with third-party vendors and suppliers to source necessary hardware, software, or services. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best terms for the client.Offer ongoing technical support to address any issues or concerns that arise after implementation.Continuously monitor the performance of implemented solutions to identify areas for improvement or optimization. Provide recommendations for updates, upgrades, or modifications as needed.MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, etc.MBA, relevant master's degree or PhD.EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 5- 10+ years of experience as Oracle Functional consultant with 3+ years of experience in implementing or supporting Oracle Cloud PPM projects and upgrades.Certified Oracle Cloud Project Portfolio Management Consultant. Certification should be within the last two years.Strong consulting experience and business analytical skills to gather and document business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, business process designs, managing conference room pilots (CRPs), perform functional configuration, and manage testing of procurement ERP solutions.Ability to lead a team, work independently and manage multiple task assignments.Ability to maintain a positive attitude under stressful circumstances.Senior enough to be able to independently handle client expectations.Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and communication skillsHigh commitment to exceed performance expectations.High degree of initiative, accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detailProfessional approach when dealing with internal and external customers.Ability to lead complete software development lifecycle including analysis, design, configuration, programming and unit testing.Produce end-user and technical documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer.Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Willingness to travel as needed.Preferred consulting experience in a similar role in a professional services firm or industry experience at a strategic level is required.Previous experience working in IT companies.In-depth knowledge of the technologies and systems relevant. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.Complex Project Management: Senior Consultants are responsible for leading multiple complex projects, necessitating exceptional project management skills.Thought Leadership: Providing thought leadership and industry expertise is critical in projects.Client Acquisition: They should have strong business development skills to acquire new clients and expand existing relationships.Mentorship and Coaching: Indirectly developing and coaching junior and mid-level consultants is a significant responsibility.Strategic Vision: Senior Consultants should contribute to the firm's strategic vision and decision-making.Executive Presence: The ability to interact effectively with senior client executives is important . The base compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $180,000 commensurate with experience.
